I love the size of the moleskine, the texture of the paper and the little pocket in the back for storing snippets and ideas ~ Participating in ATC Swaps givs you the opportinity to share artwork with other people on a variation of the same theme ~ Enjoy ...Milliande :-) Artist Trading Cards with Acrylic Gel Medium Transfers  | ~ Art is such a personal thing and inspiration can be glimpsed in a myriad of ways ~ Here I share with you my personal journey of exploring art viewed through the eye of my soul ~ It may resonate with you and inspire you to try creating art for yourself ~ It may not ~ Either way is perfectly beautiful in its own way | Making Art Journal Pages with Milliande Circle Poem Art Supplies I used : ~ a photograph printed with inkjet printer onto a sheet of paper and a sheet of non-drying acetate ( i think in america this is called transparency film ) ~ golden gel medium ~ white gesso ~ cream acrylic paint ~ brushes ~ bonefolder for burnishing ~ atc's blank pieces of cardstock artist trading card size ( 2.5 "x3.5 ") I uses a medium strenght of precut ATC;s as well as cutting my own out of mountboard ( with a craftknife and metal ruler) ~ india ink in black ~ ranger acrylic ink dabber in copper ~ calligraphy penholder and nip ( or mapping pen often used for pergamano) ~ blue watercolor crayon I loved making these ATC's to the Journaling Prompt at the "Paper Trader" group -- Sticks and Stones - Elements of Nature ~ The photograph was taken of one of my woodcarvd root i found with a crystal egg placed in one of the hollows .. then the photograph was printed in various sizes onto paper and acetate ~ The acetate was of the type that does not dry in an inkjet printer so a simple transfer could be made by simply layering it straight onto the ATC ~ Various other acrylic gel medium transfer techniques are explored .. some with success and some definetly more of an "interesting" nature ... ~ But that is half the fun -- exploring, discovering and experimenting with the process ...
