	RAW SKETCHES versus RAW PAINTING
Drawing versus Painting-- which medium feels more RAW and why ? .. do you ever " Paint Raw " ? Often artists do preliminary sketches with pencil or pen in a sketchbook , or straight onto the canvas of their choice to play with ideas, composition etc .. Do you ever " Paint Raw" ... use layers of paint to sketch ideas, let the muse flow through a brush rather than a pen ? I find it quite liberating to use an aquabrush filled with ink for loose raw sketching ...and often work up the base of form in that way .. to then return with pen or ink to define ... When using an outline sketch first ..it tends to often feel like coloring in for me ..I get lost in the detail rather than exploring form .. I have opened a forum space for members whose native language is not english .. to help facilitate space for artists who like to communicate in thier own language and help each other out with navigating our site :-) , create local projects, meetups etc ... here the language forums I have created so far Welcoming German Speakers Welcoming Spanish Speakers Welcoming French Speakers Welcoming Dutch Speakers Welcoming Portugese Speakers NEW The Native Tongue Forums can be accessed from the Navigation Bar in our Community here On order for this to work out , I will ask for volunteers who would be happy to oversee their language forum as I do not speak many foreigh languages and need some help facilitating this communal space .. please message me if you are interested in supporting this venture ..
