Which really brought it to my attention just what a lifegiving liquid this is, Water ... I have been fascinated with Masuro Emotos work on Water, he photographs water at the turn of freezing . His findings show that Water is a living conscious being, responding to emotional reactions towards it ~ if you say I " I hate you " to the water- at the point of freezing it cannot form into a crystalline snowflake pattern, but rather ends up distorted. ~ if however you say " I Love you", "Thank you" or "I am grateful" to the water beautiful snowflake crystal patterns are created like pieces of divine art. Creativity Project 1 ~ Water to me symbolizes journeying, movement and constant change ~ I have been drawn to the fast moving sacred rivers of this world and had the priviledge to sit by the Nile, to meditate by the Ganges and to feel connection beyond measure What does the River of your Llife look like? ~ take a large sheet of art paper ~ take a pencil ~ find a quiet space within yourself, meditate or pray for 5 minutes to be firmly centered in your heart space ~ set the intention to let your heart draw ~ then take your pencil for a walk over the paper - yes simple take your pencil for a walk but close your eyes as you are doing it. ~ Take your time and feel where the hand is being led to by the heart.. just follow the movement ~If you are working on your own - set a timer for approx 5 minutes so you can go undistrubed into a deep space ~ When your time is up -- remember to ground , drink some water and then l take a look at the line left by the walking pencil ~ Do you recognise any patterns or shapes? ~ What did this exercise make you feel like? ~ Is there a specific area you are drawn too? ~ Let yourself be immersed in the drawing and take some time with paint and pens to color in areas you like, to flesh out shapes and forms without being fixed on any particular outcome - simply stay with the connection and let it expand into your consciousness..   You may post your artwork at the yahoogroup if you like :) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Creativity Project 2 Tell your Water how much you Love it ~ take a water bottle or water container you use ~ make an artful label that declares your love and gratitude for the "Water of Life " ~ display it proudly for your water to "see" , but the water container on top, or embellish the bottle, or hang it from the neck of a bottle, your tap or your favourite mug ~ Everytime you take a sip of water - look at your artful label and feel the water your drink mingling joyfully with your own bodily waters and being renewed :-)
