Mixed Media Art Questions

Hi Milliande,

I'm wanting to add some wood panels to my canvas (reproducing an 8x10 work on board), and have no idea how to attach the wood securely. one will be flush, one raised, and one jutting into space.

I'm working on a 50x60 canvas.

Any help is much appreciated.

Robyn

Hi Robyn and thanks for your questions... although I think I may be out of my element here... :-)

Let me clarify ... you have a stretched canvas ( not the image in the photo) that you would like to attach wooden panels too

The wooden panels need to be able to lie flush on one side ( which one? ) ?

One panel will be protruding out of the canvas but will need to be fixed to the canvas ?

Are the Woodpanels part of the artwork or just supports for the canvas?

Are they attached to the front or the back of the canvas?

What is the approx weight of the panels..are they small or large ...etc?

Lets see whether we can brainstorm this ? :-)
