Any ideas for creating a quick take home mixed media project for a wellness fair

Mixed Media Art Questions for Milliande

I have been asked to set up a hands on creative arts table at a wellness fair so people can try their hand at something easy that they can put a quote or affirmation on and take home -- I have a lot of blank envelopes and wanted to come up with an idea using them and some simple art supplies Any Ideas?

Mixed Media Art Questions answered by Milliande

This is an interesting one ..

~ you could supply some collage letters to make an affirmation quote from, maybe pre cut out words, letters from magazines or a set of letter rubberstamps and a selection of affirmation quotes on display to choose from

~ you could have them make little inserts/ tags for the envelopes that contain the affirmation and decorate the envelope outside , The tag could be embellished with some beads, ribbon , collage , stamping, watercolor etc..

~ You could cut a window into the envelope .. uses a little acetate to make a window from behind then embellish the outer, add the quote behind the window and seal the envelope
You could create a ribbon hanging from the top of the envelope to create a little picture hanging

Maybe others can add their ideas too .. good luck, hope this helps
