Art Journal Online - Art Journaling by Artist Dianne

~ Art Supplies used

Materials I used:

Stamps: Papercraft butterfly
Uptown Designs skeleton key
Stamp It set 004;
Whispers ink pads
green acrylic paint.

Pens: Sharpie pen - fine and marker
Pilot Vpen red ink;
Signo white
Junk mail and old diet diary page.

Well this turned out to be the start of a healing journal entry. Not at all what I started out to create!
Quite surprised myself that I have actually submitted these pages.... part of pushing and challenging myself for 2010 has started already.

Thank you for submitting your art journal page

~ I am glad that the art journaling journey is giving you a space to heal and express your self

~ in the sentiment of your art journal page, unlocking our treasure, unveiling that which is always there yet at times remains hidden from view is what lies at the core of art journaling ...

~ a lot of art therapist use journaling and especially visual journalling to let the page tell stories that cannot oftne be told in words

~ I a always amazed when i am coming out of my creative flow after finishing an art journal page.. stand back and look at it ..thinking .. where did that all come from .. and often only then I start to really get connected with my art .. the rest is literally a puring out of what is there and making it visible to myself

~ on the left hand art journal page i like the way the key sets off the center yelow imafe... it stands out so bright and bold... ready for action... whilst the keys on the right hand side fade out .. to me .. like all the old doors that have been unlocked in the past year ... making room for the new

thanks for sharing, and trusting this space and our community

happy art journaling
