| It is that time of the year again .Art Journal January ..a time to crack open a brand new art journal and let me and my muse loose amongst it's pages. I am interested in playing art ..not for any particular outcome in mind but for the sake of the process, of pushing myself to explore my limitations, my creative boundaries and then push a littl eharder to break right through them if my muse is game :-) | |
| Artist Reference Photos Artist Photo Reference Library .milliande.com/artist-reference-photo-library.html | As many Mixed Media Artists like myself, I tend to go through phases of using different art supplies, playing with photography, art journaling, mixed media painting and fibre arts ... mostly . Some of my favorite art supplies pen and ink drawing pens and dipping pens, watercolor aquabrushes and acrylic paints.. How to Paint ..How to Draw .. How to be Creative..these are questions many beginner artists ask themselves ..yet there is no hard and fast rule .. here I share my process the way I taught myself how to paint.. the way I learned how to draw ..the way I play art .. I dont belive there are mistakes in art making it simply is how I express myself at the time I pick up a tube of paint..swing a pencil or carve a stamp ... no validity is necessary for me.. so take a peek at my process if you like in these how to video tutorials for mixed media art |
| For the past few years I have also created Art Journal January Videos Series, challenging myself on how long I can last in January to Art Journal and Video Tutorial a Page a day .. I have yet to manage a full month ;-) ...but here I will share all the art journaling videos day by day .. Sometimes the muse is challenged when put under time pressure... sometimes she simply thrives on the challenge.. so I let each day arise as it comes..rest assured all videos will remain available long after january has been put to rest :-) | |
