Above The City - This is my first two page journal! Yay. for some reason I felt that one page was my limit and after looking at Milliande working I decided to 'have a go'!

I had just bought some Golden Fluid paints and was eager to try them out. I absolutely fell in LOVE with these. The intense colour even when doing a wash delighted me.

To start off, I did some background washes and put a plastic bag onto the page to get some texture.I saw similar colours in a book so I just started ripping and placing the pieces on until a theme emerged.

~ I enjoy the richly layerd mixed media background .. to me almost like a colorful town out of arabian nights... full of delicious mysteries waiting to be dicovered...

~ giggle, and here goes another one hook to the irresistable quality of goldens fluide acrylic paints... i always liken them to the richness of double cream ..so lush ..enjoy playing and I look forward to some more of your visual storytelling pages
