x-acto knife
embossing tool stylus
The cupcake is the first one I made & I used it on the cupcake journal page. The rest I just carved for this prompt.
All I had to carve with was an x-acto knife and I used an 'embossing tool' that's like a stylus. It's more matter of smashing down the parts that you don't want to show on the print rather than carving :)
The circle is supposed to be a circle with a question mark in it but it just didn't want to co-operate.
I'll try again when I have more time to play. I'd like to try the real carving as I enjoyed the process. Carving tools are now on my wish list along with a gazillion other things - having so much fun.

~ I love what can be achieved with recycled art materials ..last year at art journal january I made a video using meat trays to make background stamps ..that was fun ... canbt bleive it is only a year ago ... and here we are nearly at the end of January ... who hoo 25 days... i doubled last years... wonder whether i can cook up some inspiration for day 26
