white gesso
acrylic paints
old magazine
uniball gel pen

I got this idea from a goggle search "parallel lines" and then combined several ideas from that. Then it sort of took on a life of its own with the word cutouts from the magazine. "Authentic" is my word for 2010 so that worked in nicely :)

~ I like the layout of this art journal page, reminds me of an old treasure map ..this time called life... finding the lines that criss cross our daily pathways and marking off the important points until we get to a t-junction ... an opportunity to ponder direction ...
