Art Journaling January - Art Journal Prompt Day 16 - Drawing Faces

Art Journal Online - Art Journaling by Artist Lorrie

~ Art Supplies used

Art Supplies:

General's drawing pencil - 2B (I think)

Ok - well I didn't really want to do this day's prompt as I do not know how to draw. To try to do it quickly was good because I couldn't stress over what I didn't know for too long :) In years past I would have let this stop me but now I'm just doing it anyway. It's all a learning experience.

Thank you for submitting your art journal page

~ well done for sticking with it ... i love the way you captured different expressions in your face drawings... it is not easy to draw a face...but when drawing fast faces one can get into the flow of things and improve little by little face by face ... thats why i find this exercise so useful ..letting go of having to finish a portrait ..but simply exploring the lines as they happen

thanks for sharing, happy art journaling
