Art supplies I used:

Watercolors
Watercolor crayons
gel pens
fountain pen

This was my second attempt at using the wax resist with not much better results. The gel pen resist does not seem to work at all. I did succeed better with the wax resist on the second attempt. Perhaps if I'd used darker colors? I haven't had any experience with the watercolors so that's been interesting as well. Thanks again for all that you do Milliande!

~ The gel pen resist leaves a very light subtle resist effect ..almost like a little hint of color and yes the darker the overlay color the more the resist shows up ... it also helps ot let the gel pen dry as long as possible or give it a blast with a heat gun so that it is fixed properly to the art journaling paper

~ candle wax gives a batik like wax resist and the strongest resist ..whilst coloured wax crayons again with a faily dark overlay color stand out best ...
