Wanted to get off to a start with journaling following my success with the sketchbook so dove right in - and made a journal using Tessha Moores easy method and created a 16 page journal out of Rives printing paper.

For my double page for day 1 I started painting with golden liquid acrylics, added alcohol inks ( which bled through immediately) drew circles with my handy stencil, used hand carved stamps and purchased ones with Stayz-on stamp pads- did a bit of zendoodling and coloring with Pitt pens and a dust up with pan pastels.

I found some metallic aterial that had holes in in and went crazy stamping with white paint - love'd the results. All done for Day 1

~ I enjoy the way your zentangle circle edges tunred up with some beautiful shading work

~ The mixed media layering background adds a very rich depth to the piece... very playful

~ I love the way you too incorporate your zentangle patterns into your art journaling pages ..it is a little like playing with pieces of a puzzle .. a little bit of zentangle, a dashod watercolor and hit of shading toped up with a dance of linework .. ahh the fn of it all
