Favourite Types of Markers Pens for Zentangles

Mixed Media Art Questions for Milliande

Hi Milliande...

I'm a Zentangler and wondered what kind of Markers you use,.. I see you start with larger markers and then go to fine point. Is there anything in particular you like the best? Just curious. Love your Youtube Tutorials :)

Hugs, Rose

Mixed Media Art Questions answered by Milliande

~ Hi, and I am glad you enjoy my zentangle videos, they are fun to create ...

~ Re favourite pens for zentangle tangles and doodles, it kind of depends on what surface I am doing the zentangle on ..

~ If I work on paper then I love Faber Castell Pitt Artist Pens ..they come in a variety of sizes ... lately I also have loved the Rotring Ticci pen ..an kind of technical drawing pen that comes with a lovely soft rounded nib

~ sharpy markers are great for drawing zentangles on stones found on the beach or driftwood
they alos give a lovely bold definition edge to a finished paper zentangle mandala

~ For a wide selection of fine detail nib sizes I use UNIpin Fine line markers...the nib has a very nice consistency that suits the speed of my drawing and it comes in a wide variety of size variations down to a tiny .005

hope this helps
