film transparencies for image transfers using gel media - best supplier ?

Where can I buy the correct film transparency sheets that have a smooth side and a less smooth side.I have bought 2 lots already only to find that they are two identical sides and will not transfer my ink jet image.?
Love your stuff, and I love your life Milliande !

film transparencies for image transfers using gel media

Hi Lorraine and thanks for your question.

Tough question, I am not sure , there s a new product on the market called Tap Transfer Paper for mixed media art transfers..however I had the same problem with ordinary inkjet transparencies..

I found the cheaper the quality...the more success, the rougher one side ..

I will pop the question out there...maybe someone has a supplier for this kind of transparency . I used to use a local print supplier, but they no longer exist and I did not make a note of the brand of inkjet transparency ... I just remember it being a cheap non-brand make ..

good luck
