Mixed Media Art Questions answered by Milliande

Hi ..

for art journaling white on top of color I use this pen

Uniball Signo White
~ for the white art journaling writing .. washed over with watercolors to give a soft resist effect

~ can be used for resist techniques

~ writes well over mixed media backgrounds that have acrylic paints or inks on top

~ the ink is nicely pigmented and flows well sitting on top of most colors when art journaling unlike some other gel pens that seem to disappear into the color

~ When using pastels paints..like pan pastel underneath ..a coat of spray fixative ( or workable spray fixative) needs to be coated with

hope this helps
