Front Cover Picture- Connections Art Journal

I have chosen to make a soft loose canvas cover for my art journal as it goes around its journey .. making it easier to post ( lighter than a traditional hardback art journal cover)

Mixed Media Painting with Distress Inks and Acrylic Paint and a Photo I have taken of some interconnecting leaves floating on a surface of water with the clouds reflecting into the water on a sunny day ...

This photograph to me speaks of the reflections of the microcosm and the macrocosm ..as above o below ..that which is here " there" is reflected " here"

I enjoy the way the leaves have found a way to cling onto each other as they are drifting on their watery journey ..
