Gel medium transfer time
by: milliande

~ giggle... yes that is correct .. I leave it anywhere between 60 -90 seconds ... thats why I was holding up the sign

~ I know some people do gel medium transfers and leave it to dry as much as overnight ..but then the remove the bakcing layer with some water and rub it off

~ I tend to leave it on for 90 seconds or therabouts ..then test the edge to see whehter the ink has taken and carfully start peeling away ... the gel medium has not wuite set as hard as glue stage... so the opportunity is there to peel the back off leaving the ink to sit on the page....

~ this method does give a kind of grunge looking gel medium tranfer :-)

gel tramsfer dry time?
by: Anonymous

Milliande, on your cupcake video - where you use the gel medium to transfer the cupcakes image - you only let it dry for 90 SECONDS? Is that correct?
