Hi Milliande,
Day 17 was just wonderful! I got to see how nicely ink blends into wet white paint and like you, I love the look of grungy photo transfers, so this was an exciting spread.
I am used to doing gel transfers with color photocopies or magazine pages, but have heard that using ink jet prints on paper is useless because the color runs. It was hard to tell in your video if you used an actual photograph, a color photocopy or a different print media with which to do your cupcake transfer. Can you tell us what you did?
Curious & grateful,
Susi

~ Hi Susi ,
glad you loved the cupcake art journal prompt ..
~ I took a photograph of a cupcake cake stand display .. then uploaded it onto my computer...
~ from there i increased the saturation and brightness /contrast to produce an image rich in color and contrast as those tend to transfer better with gel medium transfers
~ I then printed the cupcake photo out on my inkjet printer ( the photo can be freely dowloaded on the cupcake art jouranal prompt page so you can play .. http://www.milliande.com/art-journaling-art-journal-prompt-january-day-17.html
~ I print it on ordinary copy paper and the result is as you saw in the video
hope this helps
