Inspiration for the Fairy Folk Art Theme

Folk and Fairytale Inspiration at Into the Hermitage

Folk and Fairytale Inspiration at Into the Hermitage

One of my favorite folk type artists name is Rima, her blog is called Into the Hermitage and is a feast of eye candy for taking a step into another way of being, living and imagining ..

You can take a look at her art here, she lives with her partner in a converted truck and they have created a little magical wonderland that is embued with different types of art

Another Artist that use a soft magical fairy tale like style in her drawings and watercolor paintings is Terri Windling. Her style reminds me of an old fashioned story teller illustrating alongside the words that are pouring out ..Her website has many examples of her magical artworks

I look forward to playing in this Art Journal and will add some more inspiration as I think of them :-)
