Journal Mandala

Zentangle Mandala

This is probably not a true Zentangle because I've used colour in it, but it is the first one I've ever done and I thoroughly enjoyed doing it. I can't stop doing them, thanks for all the inspiration. Used Sharpie and Pilot No. 7.

Thank you for submitting your zentangle mandala,

there are really no hard and fast rules to zentangles mandalas ...some are done purely in black and white line drawings, some are done with colored pencils or crayons, some are done colored in with water colors and some artists like to combine them with collage elements too ... the world is your oyster really ..

~ the only real common element is repeat patterns, often over lapping, sometimes geometric in nature ...and in our case contained within a circle--hence a zentangle MANDALA

~ a lot of artists have free flowing zentangles... creating patterns as they naturally evolve often leading off the edges of the journal page ...anything goes really

~ So glad you got inspired and hooked ..

enjoy tangling ... looking forward to seeing more of your zentangle patterns
