~ Art Supplies used

Art Supplies:

magazine clippings
sticker
an oragami heart
pink and purple paint
white gesso
fine line black sharpie
rubber stamp alphabet
purple and pearl glimmer mist

I started with a few drops of pink and purple paint, and spread it around with an old itunes card.
Then I added some drops of gesso, and did the same thing.
I then heated the page with my heat tool til the paint and gesso just started to scorch, I didn't want it to burn, but I wanted to get the subtle change in color. (it brought out a peachy color in the pink and purple paint)
I then added the square of heart images, and the heart punches, and sticker. Also added the oragami heart at the bottom of the page.
I stamped the letters with my alphabet set, and then started to doodle with my sharpie. Lastly I spritzed it with my purple and pearl glimmer mists. It is hard to see the shimmer in the photo, but it is just a subtle glam.

I guess I have Valentine's Day on the brain, so I tried to add a bit of whimsy to my page.

~ I like your beautiful lettering... did you use any special calligraphy pen for that type of lettering ?
