~ Art Supplies used

Art Supplies:

Blick Acrylic Modeling Paste
Stamps
Acrylic Paints
gel pens
Higgins Permanent Ink

This turned out to be an interesting day. I had bought some modeling paste awhile back but never used it.

When I saw the prompt for spirals I thought it would be a good time to play with it. Believe it or not I had an Asian theme in mind for this prompt. Underneath the layers are two stamped asian characters on the left side and several stamped spirals using the modeling paste.

You can sort of see it on the spirals on the right side. I originally covered both pages with a bronze acrylic paint and then over that a gold acrylic paint. I then poured some blank permanent ink in places and scraped with a credit card. I also used my finger tips with the ink on both pages.

The spirals on the right were painted with a pearlescent type paint and then wiped off. The right side page was sprayed with watered down white acrylic paint.
The left side is painted with black acrylic paint and a white gel pen. How I went from the idea of an Asian theme to petroglyphs is a mystery to me. That's what I love about doing this.
