My appreciation for you

Hi Milliande,

I have been participating in the Art Journal January project for the past few days. Attempting to not get too stuck on perfection etc. Nothing is quite complete yet and I will submit one or more when they are. I'm afraid that so far I've been a bit of a copy cat and want to move beyond that to letting the zebra flourish through my own creativity and inspiration. I actually started on Day 2 then went back to Day 1 and have both of those at different degrees of doneness. I really enjoyed watching the painting unfold just now for Day 4. I've learned so much in just 4 days!

I feel moved to write to you to thank you for your generosity! This is the word that has been coming to mind each day as I watch with rapt attention as you unfold a new day's challenge. Your willingness to share your work, methods, process, templates, and heart are so heartwarming to me and give me the courage to be willing to begin.

I've taken steps this January to make more space for art making and to find the time to do something every day. The AJJ project is a great way to have a focal point to get started each day.

Thank you so very much! I will be making a donation in support of your time and energy as soon as my partner and I work out our budget for the new year.
