Cheesecloth NEW
by: Carol

I love cheesecloth, here is what I do.

I mopp up all the paint with it throughout my painting week and get it all different colors (water color/ acrylic is doesn't matter).

Then I adhere it to my art journal and paint over it or draw over it with a sharpie, leaving the ends frayed as they peek out from the cover.

It is also really cool just to edge the ends of your journals with it to give it that old rustic, goth look.

You can also cover your art journal book with it.

The other thing that I did with my students is soak it in glue and water 70/30 and drape it over a characture to make ghosts. That is really fun.

You have just inspired me to us that in my journal that has been sitting there because I did not know what to do.

Thanks for the help.
