Nature and Fairy Folk Art Journal Pages

I have had a lovely time creating my pages for Toos Art Journal Nature and Fairy Folk.

For the sign in page I have used a fairly recent photography of myself so that Toos can put a face to the artwork and information about it. I then used a photograph I had taken of Torc Waterfall in County Kerry a couple of weeks ago when I was staying there with my family. It is a truly magical place and very beautiful and peaceful.

My idea for the pages were that we were secretly looking through a magical window showing the waterfall in all of its glory, and seeing a little fairy child playing with her butterfly friends, after having climbed down her ladder to play beneath the plants and leaves. When it begins to get dark, she and the other fairies will gather together to bathe in the cool clear water of the magical waterfall and to discuss their day while recharging their powers. Before returning home to bed.

The information page was a brief discription of what I had done, I also made a little book mark and attached it to the journa, in the shape of a wingless fairy to keep all of the magic contained within the journal so that it, and she can't fly away.
