Mixed Media Art Questions

Hi Milliande!
I am so inspired by your artwork!I especially liked the "playing with masking tape" episode.Could you please tell me what kind of pen you used to make the very thin white lines? I have never seen one that thin before.I tried to find it on the supplies page, but I don't know what it is called.
Thank you!---Diana---

Hi Diana,
~ glad you enjoy my art journaling prompts..it has been a whirlwind january so far playing in between the pages of my art journal
~ I have recently done a bit of an experiment with different white writing pens and some gel pens wok better than others, some white drawing pens work wetc
~ The one I use most consistently at the moment is called ~Uniball Signo White for the white art journaling writing if you are looking for a gel pen type pen ... it gives a good consistent flow on top of acrylic paints and gel mediums etc ... but struggles a bit when writing straight on top of watercolor crayons as the waxy texture is a bit too tough to handle ..I work around it by adding a quick coat of matte gel medium on top that seals it in without affecting the color and then it works fine
~ My favourite method is also to use a dip pen with white acrylic ink by Daler Rowney ..the randomness of the lettering and inksplotches make me happy :-)
hope this helps

I am intriqued by the notion of universal consciousness and choose to peek closely at the small particles that make up existence.
Human and living form cell biology, the interplay of microcosm and macrocosm, quantumphysics and the spiritual connection to the Self all nurture me with an endless stream of inspiration.
The female form and its nature of being, the beauty of motherhood, viewing the world in fragments rather than wholes and the palpable energy exchange and communication between them are central themes in my artwork.
I enjoy making the invisible visible and creating openended visual artworks that invite the viewer to explore deeper within their own layers of perception.
Contemporary Mixed media art techniques provide a rich playground for my artistic impulses and allow room for an individual approach to the multilayered facets of my artwork.
