I have always been fascinated by the interconnections of all things... and for this Art Journal I have chosen the theme connections -- to be interpreted anywhich way the participating artists feels like... there are so many symbols of connection ... connection 2 points together...
The concept of no emptyness... the thought that there is always some area filled with something else and connected through something else intriques me ..

Ideas for Connections Art Journal
Family connections , tree, circle, joined families. - friends blood. Or emotional connections. Love or other emotions...
Electrical connections - plugs/sockets - wires
Computer connections - periperals - printers/mouse/keyboard/monitor etc
Also, not physical; eg WIFI or Bluetooth
Branches in a tree or roots, leaves etc.
Connections in roads - junctions, crossroads,
Connections between all living things, or souls
The horizon is the connection between the land and the sky.
The seashore - land and sea; riverbanks, coastline, lakesides.
Seams: connections of fabrics. Made by needle and thread.
Glue: connecting different materials.
Wealding, soldering, bonding
Umbilical cord - between mother and child.
Road surface and car tyre.
Zip fasteners. Buttons. Velcro. Poppers.
Gravity, magnetism,
Wires and ropes. Nuts, bolts and screws
Links in chains, or interlocking rings/circles or shapes.
Pipes in plumbing, or garden hoses...
